A footpath in Kings Barton will be temporarily closed when an archeological dig starts on 11th March. The dig will take place in the area that borders 2a with 3a. It is planned to take up to 10 weeks but may be longer if something substantial is unearthed.

As a consequence this the temporary footpath provided by CALA will be closed from 18th March

CALA has provided the plan below that shows the area of the dig and alternative routes from the south of the development to the school.

As a reminder this footpath will permanently close when CALA starts sonstruction of 3a in the summer.
