LCWIP Consultation

Winchester City Council and Hampshire County Council are consulting on the Winchester District Focus Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).

The plan is part of a government led initiative to improve non-vehicular access for all. The consultation will be running for 8 weeks from midday Monday 13th May to midnight Sunday 7th July. The improvements proposed for London Rd form part of these proposals. It is therefore important that local residents and other users of the route are able to comment and to give their views. Maybe, as a local user you will know of a detail that the route designers had not thought of and this information could shape the final document.

The consultation will provide information on the design of the route, the priorities that needed to be considered and the interventions that will be used. All feedback is encouraged.

The consultation is online using the ViewPoint platform. For those who do not have access to a computer a paper copy is available at the Winchester City Council offices and a computer will be made available to submit responses.
