M3 Jnct 9 upgrade - Planned closures

• Overnight on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 May the contractors are closing the A34 northbound from junction 9 to Three Maids Hill - Vegetation clearance and Traffic Management switch (narrow lane install)
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: A34 northbound diversion
• Overnight on Friday 29 May, Wednesday 3 June, Friday 5 June and Saturday 6 June the contractors are closing the A34 at Three Maids Hill southbound and the A33 southbound from the Cart and Horse junction – Traffic Management works, Kings Worthy bridge work and camera movements
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: A34/A33 southbound diversions
• Overnight on Monday 1 June, Tuesday 2 June and Thursday 4 June the contracotrs are closing the A33 southbound from the Cart and Horse junction – Kings Worthy bridge work and Traffic Management
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: A33 southbound diversion
• Overnight on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June the contractors are closing the M3 southbound between junctions 8 and 9 (8pm to 6am) – M3 main line traffic management switch works
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: M3 junction 8 to 9 southbound diversion
• Overnight on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June the contractors are closing the M3 northbound between junctions 9 and 8 (8pm to 6am) – M3 main line traffic management switch works
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: M3 junction 9 to 8 northbound diversion
• Overnight on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 June the contractors are closing the M3 northbound between junctions 10 and 9 (9pm to 6am) - Carriageway management
  • Diversion: M3 junction 10 to 9 northbound diversion
• Overnight on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June the contractors are closing the M3 northbound between junctions 9 and 8 (8pm to 6am) – M3 main line traffic management switch works
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: M3 junction 9 to 8 northbound diversion
• Overnight on Monday 29, Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July the contractors are closing the M3 northbound between junctions 9 and 8 (8pm to 6am) – M3 underpass works
  • Switch off satnav and follow signed diversion: M3 junction 9 to 8 northbound diversion

The diversion routes are designed to suit all vehicle types.

You are advised not to use a Satnav when following any of the diversions because there is a risk it could direct you down an unsuitable road or back onto the network when it is closed.
