Last year, Winchester City Council appointed local architects Design Engine to develop a Concept Masterplan for Station Approach. The project team consists of Design Engine Architects, NEW Masterplanning, Steven Bee Urban Counsel, Urban Movement and ARUP Engineering.

The team have undertaken a baseline survey, run workshops with local stakeholders and reviewed the feedback from previous consultations. This work has helped to inform their proposals for the concept masterplan. We are now looking to get feedback on these draft proposals.

This consultation will start on 16 September and will close on 27 October. During this time, we’ll be asking people to share their thoughts on the proposed changes to the Station Approach area, by answering a short series of questions.

The project team will be hosting a drop-in session at Design Engine offices, and we’ll also be hosting an online presentation in early October.

Dates:

When the consultation closes, all responses will be considered, and the concept masterplan finalised. It will then be submitted to the Council’s Cabinet and, if approved, it will guide future development and be a material consideration for planning applications that come forward.

We would very much welcome your support in helping us promote the consultation so that we can reach as many people across the district as possible. To get involved follow this link: Have your say - Station Approach (winchesterstationapproach.co.uk)
